Yeh, you can. I think if you have used 1/2 quart, that you can use it until you change you oil.

What my 2022 OM says:
ENGINE OIL RECOMMENDATION
We recommend the use of INDIAN MOTORCYCLE Synthetic Blend
15W-60 Engine Oil for your motorcycle. This oil is formulated with
synthetic-based oil and premium engine additive which have
physical properties that meet API SM and ILSAC GF-4
specifications.
Do not blend oil additives with engine oil.
If oil must be added in an emergency and the recommended oil is
not available, choose only a high-quality 15W-60 motorcycle oil.
Change back to the recommended oil at the first opportunity.
Engine oil for this vehicle needs to be JASO MA compliant.
NOTICE
Use of non-recommended lubricants can result in engine
damage. Damage resulting from the use of non-recommended
lubricants is not covered by warranty.

I never did find an answer for this? (2022 Scout)
I used the AMSOIL V-Twin 15W-60 Synthetic Oil when I did my 500mi oil change myself on my 2022 Scout Bobber. I used a Wix XP filter. AMSOIL states: "Developed by AMSOIL for use in Victory * and Indian* Motorcycles ". https://www.amsoil.com/p/15w-60-synthetic-v-twin-motorcycle-oil-msv/

The photo is too small to see what the Viscosity is. But the black label is usually the 20W-50, I got the Green Label that is the recommended 15W-60.

While not ideal, I doubt topping off a small amount with a little different viscosity would make much of a difference, especially if its a quality synthetic that is close to the viscosity of the rest of the oil.

" choose only a high-quality 15W-60 motorcycle oil. " is exactly why I wanted to check with you guys !! I can't get 15W-60 locally, or even within a few hundred km's! The dealer is a 3 hr drive and they don't even have stock. ....

 .... bootleg 15W-60 ....

Why can't you order it online and have it delivered? I checked Amazon, the Indian 15W60 there can't be delivered till 15-16 June. Asmoil likely will do better, or at least the same. Look on AMSOIL sight they have resellers, perhaps one is near you that can get it sooner.

If you want the oil sooner, depends on how much you need to top off.

How many miles do you have on the oil change currently? I used half a quart in a little over 5k miles.

Yup, that's the issue, days to weeks to get it. It's just above the bottom line. Prob be fine, but I knew it was low before I checked it, maybe it's just in my head but it seemed to feel like the shift was different. Only few hundred km's on this oil change too.
