finally got around to making a seat lanyard, ended up that when the seat is hanging it makes a good place to lay your tools while working with battery or making connections. also made these bungee spools for about 10 bucks.

Fitted some Ends Cuoio Middle Seminole panniers to my 2020 Scout. It took me longer to find the 3 tools I needed than to finish the job!
My old Hepco and Becker panniers took a bashing this year, both from heavy use and the carelessness of others. I had also had some problems with the mounting system when they were fully loaded. I thought I would treat myself to something better.
As other Forum members have found, Ends Cuoio panniers are very high quality. Thick, smooth and neatly stitched leather, a (hidden) metal side plate and plastic bottom plate to keep the panniers’ shape, and quick-release straps. The lock is robust but can be tricky to line up if the pannierrs are stuffed full. Looked after, these panniers will last a lifetime.
The mounting system is simple, neat and inconspicuous. Thanks to cuts-out in the panniers for shock absorbers and the belt drive, they hug the bike tightly. The cut-outs reduce the capacity a little. But the 20 litres per bag available is more than enough for my needs: waterproofs, spare spectacles and gloves, tool and first-aid kits, heavy-duty disk lock, battery-operated tyre pump/power bank and - most importantly of all - space for emergency chocolates for my wife.
Ends Cuoio is a great company to do business with. Dani, who handles customer enquiries, is incredibly helpful and efficient. She patiently and quickly answered my many questions and requests, volunteering information to ensure I got the right panniers for my needs.
It took just 3 weeks from placing my order to delivery. Of this, a third was used by FedEx getting the panniers from Italy to me in the UK.
To sum up, I couldn’t be happier with my Ends Cuoio panniers: great design, top quality materials and manufacture, practical, they enhance my bike’s looks and come from a responsive and helpful company that offers real customer service. You might get cheaper but you won’t get better.
