For whats it worth i have a few HD buds that have dyna fatbobs and they ordered Bat fairings for their bike bikes from that company and they have no complaints at all.Hope you have have the same experience.

As far as I know fiberglass or ABS can not be powder coated. An item must be metal, they put a charge on it and the opposite charge on the powder which is sprayed on the metal. The opposite charges attract. then the item is put in an oven, baked and the powder melts and flows out. There is a process where you can spray on what looks like chrome. Now if the look like chrome stuff can hold a charge then maybe it could be powder coated, The plastic would have to be able to with stand the high temperature.

Won't spray painting them flat black work? Is the Dark Horse different than flat black and if so I'm sure Dupli-Color must have the correct black wouldn't they?

Now I wonder if one of those flat clear coats would be good. At least then you wouldn't have to be so worried about ruining it.

guys, sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I actually have no idea what material the ones I ordered were made out of. I didn't see any place to specify. I haven't received them yet. They told me it takes up to 6 weeks to get them to me. But, I'll keep you posted.
Any updates bud? It's been about a month... Just curious.

Tsukayu Fairing, Hard Saddlebags and Touring Trunk

Hey guys.... I really really really like the look of these!

Anyone have any experience with this company?

I think i want these Big Ass hard bags bad.

These are the jumbo easy model, i think. Put them on with easy brackets. I think they look awesome.

Get them painted to match the DH, oh yeah, that'd be great.

Just waiting for someone to tell me why these bags suck for some reason because that seems to be what happens every time i find a reasonably priced setup. LOL
I bought a set of hard bags and a bat-wing fairing from Tsukayu for a Kawasaki several years ago. If I remember correctly, I think they were fiberglass and not plastic. Quality was fine, no problems and my painter mentioned that they had used a very good primer and were well prepped for painting.

Has anyone bought these? How are they? Did the hardware come with it? Hardware isn't pictured...

Really wanted the factory hard bags but they are way too much, these look similar and much less expensive but I'm concerned about the hardware as it doesn't show it or even mention it in the listing.

Unpainted Black Saddlebag For Indian Chieftain Dark Horse Roadmaster 14-17 2015 | eBay
I had a set of the leather covered bags on my Roadliner for 7 years and never had a problem with them. I put leather conditioner on about twice a year. See avatar pic.

I had the strong bags on my Honda Shadow. They were fiberglass and came paint-ready. Mounting was kind of a PITA to get the holes lined up for drilling, but I persevered. You have to install the weatherstripping yourself. I noticed that, after about 5 years of wear, the carpet lining was starting to wear out where the lid contacted the bag itself. Other than that, they are good quality. Not as much room in them as the stock Indian hardbags, but I could still fit most of the world in them.

I figured I would revive this as I am on a mission to find the right bags for my 16 DH. These now come in several options, including Vinyl covered with the option for both ABS or Fiberglass. Has anyone installed these and how did they turn out? I am thinking the fiberglass option or even vinyl is just right. Tsukayu Fairing, Hard Saddlebags and Touring Trunk

personal opinions, the DH only looks right with leather bags. Looking at those photos, those look way smaller than Indian soft or hard bags.
yeah I found some of the OEM nice leather ones at far more than half off, arrive Friday
