Has anyone used Riders Share to rent a bike? What are your experiences? Good? Bad?

I'm taking a trip back east next month for an annual family gathering that involves a ride from central PA to NE PA and hanging out at our hunting cabin for the weekend. It's been a few years since I was able to ride a bike for the trip and I'd really like to this year. There's an option to rent a HD with pickup/drop off at the airport I'm using so it works pretty well for me.

Ok, well here's what I've learned so far:

Accounts are free. You do need to provide proof of who you are and be licensed to ride a motorcycle to create an account.

Just because you book a rental doesn't mean it's a done deal. The bike owner has to approve it. They have 12 hours to do that. If they don't, the booking is cancelled, and your money is refunded. The owner also has their listing suspended for lack of response. (This happened to my first booking)

They encourage you to message the bike owner prior to booking and start a conversation.

You have to use their insurance options. My insurance covers rentals but I cannot check out without selecting one of their options. They don't even offer and option to provide your own. They have 3 levels of coverage, from $15 to $25 per day, and the required deposit varies based on option selected. For my booking that fell thru the lowest level insurance required a $2000 deposit where the highest reduced it to $500.

I'm currently communicating with a gentleman with a '14 Chieftan and things look promising.

More to follow...
