Hey everybody - been registered on this site for quite sometime, but never posted until now. Fell in love with my 2015 from the moment I rode it during a demo ride and now have about 10,000 trouble free miles on her. I'm a lover of all motorcycles, but greatly enjoy the history of Indian, and like some of you, got a little fed up with Harley. Now thinking about moving to a Roadmaster or Cheiftain in the near future as my girlfriend has expressed interest in cruising along on the back.
Over the weekend, I attended a "Cars and Coffee" event at Katie's Coffee Shop in Great Falls, VA. Always an interesting group of cars - classics, exotics, and high end cars, with some pretty awesome motorcycles occasionally showing as well. One gentlemen cruised in with a Morgan 3 Wheeler and it instantly drew a crowd instantly. If you aren't familiar with these little things, here's a link: 3 Wheeler
It has a S&S engine on the front end and enjoys the same classification of vehicle as the Polaris Slingshot in most states. As I was looking at this really cool machine, I couldn't help but wonder what an Indian version may look like with a beautiful Thunderstroke 111 powering it. Seems like it could easily be a low volume production hit for Polaris, especially given their success with the Slingshot, and their expanding market and product line with Indian. Morgan 3 wheelers are pricey too - at around $45,000 for the base model. I imagine Polaris could produce something much nicer looking for a more competitive price point....and it would be one classy looking machine.
