I just ordered my Indian Chief Dark Horse in Stealth Gray. I have had many bikes in 35 years mostly sport but lately on my fourth BMW GS and still have my trusty DR350. I had rented some Harley's through Rider Share ( Street Bob and Fat Bob ) but kept coming back to loving the looks of the Chief.
I live in La Honda about 5 miles west of Alices if people know that destination so would welcome showing someone around if you are ever in town.
I have some videos of roads near me on my blog (mostly hunting stories ; ) mseanbrowne
I talked to the dealer and he offered heated grips which I love. We went through their site and it was a little confusing where the button went on a DH non bobber. It looked like they add some part between the forks similar to the one behind the light on the bobber. Anyone has heated grips on a DH? I can't find it on the public website and am really curious what that looks like on a DH.
Am excited about getting this bike and am looking at seats Corbin vs Saddlemen. Also looking at Stage 1 maybe with Dean Speed. My bike, unfortunately, gets the chrome headers so also might wait for more options.
Anyway, excited to find these forums!
Thanks,
Sean Browne
