Is this just a down load that my dealer loads on my bike... I have stage 1 air filter and Indian slip-ons.. Looks like price is around $500??? if so, is it worth it in your opinion.. 2017 Roadmaster

My ‘20 Chieftain 116 is bone-stock. Air filter, pipes, everything stock. Ran ok but would flat spot when rolling on throttle to pass at 70mph. Had local Indian dealer, who is a Lloyd’s remote tuner, install a tune. Bike runs wayyyyyyyy better. 50mph to 100mph is quick. No more flat spots. Pipes are running cooler as well. No more cooked right foot. So far, I’m happy with the Lloyd’s tune.
I have a stock '19 Chieftain Classic 111 that I've had since Sept '22. There's a lot of different opinions on whether the Lloyd's tune is worth it if no changes to the bike will be made. My main issue is the heat off the motor. Is the tune worth it if I'm primarily looking to lower the temp?
Getting my 2nd to me ‘17 Roadmaster stage two cams installed soon. I still have a couple of Craig B tunes from my first ‘17 Roadmaster that I sold. That one had freedom performance true duals and FP headers. On my current’17 Icon Roadmaster I have the stage 1 round AC and Rhineharts. So I’m going to key PC Beach do the cams install once they get here. Plus I have a side stand recall on the ‘22 Super Chief Limited while there.
We have Lloyd’s tunes on several bikes with no issues. On the Challengers it was proven race after race that the bikes are faster with the Lloyds tune. Throttle response is much better. My RM 116 BBKit runs very strong with a remote tune by Lloyds from the dealer in Nashville.
I have cams air and slip ons and did a remote PV3 tune from Lloyds with a dealer. Bike runs great has much better tork and throttle response. I stayed with the stock header with cat. Bike still sounds great with the Reinhart exhaust.
I would order a PV3 from Fuelmoto. When you get one from them you get lifetime support and maps from them. Much better power and throttle response. The maps you get from the dealer are the factory tunes that are EPA compliant. They work but the tunes are far from ideal for air cooled engines. So if you did a stage 1 air cleaner and exhaust you would still need the dealer flash for stage 1 air and exhaust. Then you would get the PV3 and modify the factory tune for better response and power. Dean
Get yourself a tuner and ask Craig B for a tune for you setup. My 18 Roadmaster has stage 2 with Craig's tune and it's night and day from the Indian tune. Can't comment on the Lloyds tune but I'm sure someone will chime in.
