Front axle Torque

Anyone who happens to have a Scout workshop manual, could you tell me the torque setting for the front axle? I'm guessing about 55 ft-lb (= 74.56 Nm), but would be nice to know. Rear axle is higher, like 88Nm or so.

ah, that's the page I need - thanks Al, much obliged!! I'd better buy one of these I suppose, hadn't really expected to be doing so much wrenching on a new bike this soon, but should be worth it by next week when the shocks come, and can get some serious miles on her - cheers mate - Pat

If you want the rear shock remove and refit pages, just yell Buddy,..

Hi Pat, back from the Americana Swop Meet.

I found it easier to screw the BĂ´lts back in evenly when you remount the shock.
