The Challenger drain plug is an inch and a half long, don't damage it, it cost $20 for a new one. But you do get the $6.50 O-Ring with it.

Received my Votex the other day. Ordered a bag of their replacement washers today and the o-rings mentioned. For the cost of two sets of washers and o rings from Indian I will have more than I’ll ever use.

 

Why is it so long? Would a short stubby one work? What is the o ring sealing so far down?

 

Always wondered that also.
