I expect nothing special other than some new shitty paint color options - speaking of the available color options in europe/germany.

Already have three Indians in the garage and won't buy another one(a forth one). Maybe, if one or two sold, than, maybe but that would be a used like new 2024 Sport Chief die to the emission and sound regulations over here....

I'm just waiting for them to hit showroom and see larger discounts on 2025 models. Doesn't seem that will happen though as Indian is happy to only discount bikes $3k that are 2 years old sitting at dealers.

Google is afraid of liability with it on motorcycles. I admit I don't like it and don't use it in my pickup but I would likely use it on bike using the adapter thing for car play.

Thunderstoke engine is going away. It already can’t be sold in Europe. They put all the money into re designing the scout engine. If I were a betting man, a larger version of that will be going in another platform

I theorize something will get dropped... chiefly, the Super Chief. The last 3 demo days I went to in NY & NJ didn't have any SCL available to ride. The omission was so obvious that I had several people mistake my personal SCL bike as a demo! At the 3rd demo day I went to just 2 weeks ago in White Plains I finally asked the demo manager what the deal was... he said that he was instructed not to even bother taking the Super Chiefs off the truck anymore, and that they are the least popular model. I was shocked & confused, but it seems that is foreshadowing... .

A semi-bobber bagger was a dumb design to begin with. So no one should be surprised.
Now if they had built the bike with full fenders (valanced or not) I think the bike would have had a better chance of success.
Personally I think the rear fender design of the Chief is pretty awful.

The issue with the Chief line is it size wise too close to the Scout, and price wise closer to the heavyweights.

People complained for years that the Scout was too small and more of a beginner's bike, and Indian needed a "mid-size" bike. Well, they did finally make one in 2021 the "New Chief", but they never took off.

With the redesign of the Scout, just may have killed the Chief line. The demographics for that bike as far as sales just isn't there.

Ive had my Chief for 11 years and it's likely I'll never get rid of it.

You'd think they'd find a way to keep the air cooled motors. Hard to compete with HD when HD's bread and butter is a /114/117 in any chassis.

Scout is a good bike and clearly a top seller, but only because its a 'beginners bike'. Sport Chief with hard bags is the way to go.

I'm hoping for a PowerPlus 122 Roadmaster with valanced fenders and older style fairing... I doubt that I'll see it since they've reduced that styling option to the Springfield and only one version of the TS Roadmaster... The Springfield might go away... since they're offering the new Chief with the TS116...

I don’t see the Chief replacing the Springfield. Don’t get me wrong, the Chief is a good bike, but it’s not as capable for long weekend trips or touring. I had a 22 Chief Dark Horse with the 116 and traded it in for my Springfield Dark Horse. Two completely different bikes even though they have the same engine.

The problem with the Chief, or more so the design of, is that there are so many different models or variations but they all have the same “bobber” fenders. Even the non Bobber models. I went with a buddy to my local dealership for a demo-day test ride when the new Chief line was introduced. The only difference among them that I remember was with or without windshield and/or bags and spoked or non spoked wheels. And of course the DH option of having the engine blacked out. We both asked why they only brought the bobber versions for demos. Why didn’t they make at least one option of having full sized fenders? Not valanced, just regular fenders.

And they didn’t bring a single Springfield model for test ride. That was the main reason we went. I believe we could’ve gotten my buddy off his HD Heritage if they had.

It was a long enclosed trailer pulled with a pickup. It was pretty disappointing to be honest. And all the demo days they’ve had since then that I can think of have been through the week which makes it hard on those of us who still work.

All this talk of Demo days is making me so jealous!! We don't get demo days out east here. We can't even take a bike for a test ride without a signed purchase agreement!!

That’s ridiculous… guess they aren’t too concerned with making a sale

You’re from Canada? Oh, there’s so many more things you can’t do.
No worries, we’re on par!

Like others said, the 2nd week of November on Tuesday is when 2026 models are released, but these will simply be existing models with different rim and color options for 2026. In February after the Dealer meeting, is when a new model or variant would be introduced. Funny how we go over this every year and it's the same answer.

So I shouldn't buy now? Oops.

I don't think I'll get better deal than I have when prices are likely to go up even more next year.
