Ok I must be having a senior moment looking up the info. I know some like the OEM windshield. Jay has a couple of Memphis shades, Elrod and others are testing the Madstad.
Does anyone have connections with Klock Werks and the Flare? Be nice to see another alternative for the Scout. Just asking.

I am currently working with Long Ride Shields - they put a slight flip at the top of their shields to send the air up and over. It works great with the hubby's Chieftain so I am hopeful that they Scout will be too.

I'm very interested in that. Which model on their site is similar to what you're working on with them?
I am not sure they have a model - I sent my entire OEM shield and hardware to them. They are going to see what they can do in fabrication. Not sure if it would be just the lexan or a complete package once they get it done.

Loved my Long Ride Shield on the Ultra Classic .. They didn't seem interested in doing one for my Victory so pretty much wrote them off .. Will be following this thread and see what happens ..

Believe that Windvest is now selling one for the Scout, they make various windshields for all the other Indians.

Halman - You have to go into the products tab, then click on Indian, then enter your model info. They showed three models in both clear and smoke color. The biggest is a 16"x16" that runs a cool $447 Msrp. Think they been taking lessons from Polaris? (Well, 'cept for the fact that they actually have something available to buy...)

I believe what they have is for older models. Just shot them an e-mail asking about the 2015 Scout.

Have to watch carefully on some of this stuff actually made for the Gilroy Scouts .. Many Vendors will tell you it fits too and not even close ..

I had a Klockwerks flare windshield on my H-D Softail Deluxe. I worked much better than the H-D windshield.

It had flares on the sides and a lip on the top edge. Only problem was it was huge, several inches wider, and taller, although it could be ordered in different heights.

I was impressed seeing it in the flesh Jay. Like the OEM shield it looks like it belongs, but is it keeping you in the sweet spot. I find my OEM shield works well enough. Well enough being the trouble add a little side breeze or more and it is not a happy camper. Wondering if the curve makes a significant difference.

It Helps Salty but are Certain Times when does Buffet with a strong side breeze or passing Semi Trucks .. In Light Traffic with no crosswinds can run 85 all day ..
