Learned a lot from this thread when I had my Chieftain Dark Horse but have not seen one started for our Challenger's yet.
Gave everyone a central location to see what others had done to their bikes - add-ons, mods, upgrades, paint, etc.

I'll start off--
Removed saddle bag protectors and Indian script from nose of fairing.
Added KlockWorks Flare tinted Windshield
Added Eagle Gen 2 Headlight w/Halo
Swapped Chrome unlit Headdress for Black lighted Headdress on front fender
Swapped Chrome Heat Shields for Black Heat Shields
Added Stage 1 Intake and Tab Performance Mufflers
Added USB Charging Port to Dash
Added Nav, Extended Reach Seat, Passenger Backrest, and a Select Toe Peg to each side
Added wiring harnesses to make bags remote lock and add a charging port in bag
Dirty Bird Handlebars have been on back-order for over a month
Have heated grips ready to go on when bars come in

FYI on the Dirty Bird Bars. Unless the made a change you will have to mod the throttle side with a dremel tool to be able to install heated grips.

The pinstriping looks great.
Especially like how the tank emblem turned out.
What is your opinion on the Dirtybird bars?

Having never ridden with anything but OEM Bars on everything i have owned to this point i can say definitely like them a lot. Have always had to have a drivers backrest on all my touring bikes because of lower back pain. Someone on here mentioned that raised bars would help that. So I purchased and installed them and they were correct. Drivers backrest longer gets used.

Great thread idea and nice mods. I like the extended reach seat for the Roadmaster but haven’t sat on one for the Challenger. How does it compare to the stock Challenger seat from your perspective?

The extended reach seat is much more comfortable for me on the Challenger.
The stock seat was too cramped and I had be very careful when mounting the bike as it had me right up on the tank.
I find that the seat did move me back but did not raise me up as advertised which is perfect for me.
That was the main reason that I did not get the original heated / extended reach saddle for my Chieftain as it raised me up too much.

Nice JFeisty!
Wouldn’t it be nice if there was an option to put the painted parts on a dark horse? Actually seen were a dealer in Denver did it with the Blue LTD.

JFeisty -- That is sweet!!
I did not even think about the bezels around the front lights - will most likely swap mine out also.
Are you going to change out the headdress too?
