I can't for the life of me figure out what the physical metal key is for or where it goes on my Chief. Anybody know?

It is used for the steering lock on the Chief. ( on the right side of the bike). On the other models it will work on the side bags and tour pack. Dean E

This has been a very interesting thread.
I had been using that key to dig the wax out of my ears.
