Wow, those really look sharp. I will be doing that upgrade next! I noticed you have the Indian handle bar bag. I have that coming in tomorrow. Happy with it?
It is quite handy, especially for things that are a little bulky for the pockets when you are riding, like your phone. The downside is that it is really easy to walk away and forget things, like your phone. :) It has snaps and velcro. I have no worries about it accidentally popping open.

Looks great - what kind of mirrors are those?
Thanks man. Not entirely sure. They were temporary hold over until I figured out what I want as a better solution. I bought them at a local Renegade Classics, and honestly can't remember what they are exactly, other than inexpensive and good enough for now. Still thinking I want to invert them with the Combustion Industries solution for that, but have to pick mirrors to use with their part, and that's what I'm undecided on.

Fair enough. If you settle on something and are looking to get rid of those let me know!

I keep going back and looking at your bike. Can’t believe how good such a small add on looks.
Very nice!
Thanks, I'll be doing a small write up about how I installed them using a 4-pin connector instead of their posi-connectors.

They're very easy to install and I'm glad I have more visibility.

I swapped out my license plate bolts for some after market super high performance ones. The lawyers won’t let them say this, but they are rated for up to 133 mph.

I only have a few pics for now. My full installation video might be posted later if I can get finished with all the editing….3 camera shoot, lots of b-roll footage stuff, need to clear some music rights, etc.

Some might be hesitant to jump in with a mode as invasive as this, but at some point you have to ask yourself, are you a poser or a real biker. Yes there’s a chance you could basically ruin your bike, but those risks are small. I could be struck by lightning too. Just take your time, go slow, don’t go fast, and whatever you do, just take your time.

I didn’t block out my license plate with a blur, finger or shop rag….which means I will mostly like be tracked down and raped. I took a shower just in case.

STAGE 3 License Plate Mod

Although it’s only been about two months since my last mod, I decided to make a change. Stock or even light mods are fine if that’s what you’re into. But for some of us, exploring the limits of performance are what these bikes are built for. Maybe it will void my warranty, but the thought of leaving her all stock voids my fun.

This latest change probs wrings all the hidden horsepower one is going to get out of their license plate holder. It moves top speed up about another 15 mph and changes the color of the power band from red to orange.

Before:

Tire Wheel Automotive tire Fuel tank Motor vehicle

After:
Automotive tire Motor vehicle Fender Automotive design Gas

Leave it to Illinois to ship the plate already scratched up and to still have to use stickers in 2023.

What base did you use? I was thinking about something similar.
This base, you have to take the thin plastic covers off the spools of the bag mounts for the mount to seat all the way, mount has rubber on the front fork that goes over the spool.

And this plate for the inside of the pack so your not bolting plastic to metal

They match up perfectly to the TCMT Razor Tour Pack.

Now I have to start sanding it down to prime and paint match the pack. Any suggestion on grits to use and if it’s ok to use a battery orbital sander or should I just do it by hand?

Once all done I’ll trim and refit the fillers for between the bags and fender.

Other than pot roasts, will yours also do pizzas?
Come to think of it a late pizza would fit just fine I’m there. Another reason I’m glad I bought it. Thanks for the idea, can run and grab pizza for the family on the Springfield now.
