i brought my Scout home from the Towing yard.
been there 3 months on evidence hold.
it was just barely dawn.
i was heading to work.
i had the right of way.
an elder woman walked out into my path.
i never saw her.
she didn't make it.
my damage is minimal.
but i will always feel guilty.
May peace be unto you I4D.
Sorry you have to go through this. Would that we could undo such a tragedy. It seems you have nothing you should feel guilty about.
Perhaps some good can come from sharing any thoughts the rest of us can learn from.

Ride in peace, my friend.

i passed the hospital blood test for alcohol(it was only 6:15 AM)
i passed a second blood test by the local PD.
i have no wisdom. i thought i was alert.
i just missed something.

I wired up a second circuit on the 8 position blade fuse holder for a dual USB port in my left saddlebag. I used a hollow bolt from a turn signal, and routed it under the fender, and hooked the ground wire to the rear bolt for the saddlebag mount. I will keep the phone safely in the bag, my GPS can access the hotspot, and everything will work well.

Installed the S&S StealthTwo intake and ran the cable for the PV3. Read my ecu for .STK file and sent it off to fuelmotousa for my first map. Should just be a few days.

Storms rolled in so wasn't able to go for a ride but simply starting the bike and giving a couple quick revs you can for sure tell she's breathing better! Going to figure out a mount for the PV3 as I prefer to keep it mounted

For Father's day the wife and kids got me a helmet wall mount so I can make my little parking corner official with my gear hanging!

Tried to add a video for the front Aux Beams and these rear tail lights, but it doesn't give me an option ... so I guess you will need to use your imagination.
Grabbed a set of rear turn signals/tail lights off here and wired them in parallel with existing lights. Simple drill a hole to fit the stem and bolt them on. Everyone will see you now, it just lights up and I get thumps up when I use my turn signals. People in the passenger seat leaning over to say how cool they look ... Hi SurfinGator,
Where's the power source the front Aux light coming from?
I would like to add some front aux light too.

Update: took it for a spin this evening - the sound of the intake at full throttle is orgasmic... Definitely going to hurt the fuel economy and potentially the # of points against my license :D can't wait for the tune to see what it can really do!

Good day, got my tune in and flashed (first ride will be tomorrow.) And I got my new ruroc atlas 4.0 helmet. I'm coming from a bell bruiser which had a modular removable face - so the cheek pads of a full face will definitely take some getting used to. Sprung for the Shockwave too and the sound is pretty awesome

bought the extended reach seat only to find it does not come with the hardware to mount it.so now I have to make something. So disapointed in indian as a brand. Can't find the part anywhere. Dealership is only open when I am at work so I am not able to get help there.

You can probably find them on their website. The stuff I ordered took 3 or 4 days to get to me. Also, everything you order has a what's included section that will tell you what's included. You can also find out the exact bolt specs and go to Lowes/Home Depot/Ace and buy them very cheap.
Edit: if you can't find it on their website you can call or email them and they will get the answer for you.

I received my extended reach seat and touring passenger seat yesterday. I took the only long seat off and decided it was a great time to ceramic coat the bike as the rear fender would be pretty much all exposed. After letting the ceramic cure overnight, this morning I went to put on the new seats. The rear one went on just fine, but I didn't the get the bolt and sleeve to attach the rear of the rider seat to the frame. So I had to order that and to wait for that to come in. Hopefully my Dart screen will arrive around the same time as the bolt and sleeve.

I might have to consider a change in exhaust from my Vance & Hines 3" slash cuts. On the exhaust level scale (thread) they're rated around a 6 or 7 on the scale to 10 but maybe I'm getting old it's becoming too loud for my liking. Especially leaving for work at 630am

Just out of pure curiousity, would anyone be willing to trade their stock 2up seat for a reduced reach solo and passenger touring seat? I really like the look of the 2up seat. Both the tan and black. The solo seat is super comfortable but Im really not a fan of the looks. (Regular scout 69)
