Out of curiosity, has anyone installed or is considering installing a quick shifter on their scout? Dynojet's is roughly $300, but I was curious to see if anyone has installed it on their scout and what they think of it.

Just found old footage of my Indian billet contrast cut riders pegs. Made the video tonight but the install was actually from 2020. If you can find these pegs, I highly recommend them. They look and feel great.

@Scout Party I installed one earlier this year. It‘s been a fun add-on for me and I use it mainly when I’m really getting on it or merging onto the highway etc. When your going WOT it’s a blast. It isn’t the smoothest when used during low rpm shifts imho and you need to be more deliberate when quick shifting to 2nd or tend to hit false neutral. The shift rod and sensor is a breeze to install, but pulling into the fuel injector under the fuel tank is a real PITA. I had a few moments I almost gave up and thought I wasn’t going to be able to do it myself.

Well after waiting months, my Fox shocks finally came in yesterday. So I decided before today's big meal and before I went into a food coma, I would install them, Easy install, the hardest thing was getting the upper slip-on off to get to the lower bolt on the shock. I went with the Fox because I feel they best match the look of the Scout. I still got to dial them in, but the short ride I took was noticeable better!

Earlier this week I went on a one day 590 mile ride on my Scout which is my longest one day trip yet. I also took her through 2 thunderstorms without issue; it was raining so hard during one storm that the water was flowing across the highway in one town and I couldn’t even see the asphalt. Finally, I made it 142 miles between available services and still had over half a galllon in the tank to spare. There’s nothing my girl can’t do 😎

If you are a spouse or dependent of a military member and want to show him/her a bit of your support by sending a military care package. It is a nice way to stay connected. However, if you send the wrong items in a military package, you do more harm than good. So, please take care about what not to send in a military care package, that are big things, prohibited things and perishable goods.

What is that silver portion on top of the tank. Hand painted? Decal of some sort?

Had me fooled, too!
So the Chemical Guys wax is some really good stuff? I almost bought some a while back, but haven't tried it yet.

Picked up a Led headlight and risers for the scout. Installed them today. Riser was not intended to fit on scout with windshield so I had to modifie the windshield brackets to make it work. Raised my shield 1.5 inches but can still see over.Brought my bars up and back a bit. Put on an Led headlight. Plug and play. It was quite a job to transfer the ring off the stock light and get it on the Led. Way brighter than the original light.

Went out for a ride for a few hours today. First time riding since I installed the Joker Machine foot pegs. Extremely comfortable and a great choice in my opinion. Also my first time testing out the Saddlemen seat that I had to retrofit for the Scout. Still a bit stiff but overall it felt great. I rode for almost 2 hours before I first started feel a little uncomfortable.

I'm still surprised Saddlemen chose to make a seat only for the Bobber and not for the regular Scout. Don't understand that thinking.

Is that a Memphis shades fairing? How do you like it? If you previously had a Dart screen, how does it compare?
