Nice! How loud exactly would you say they are?Installed my new Dean Speed Rampage slip-ons. Weird feeling riding through the neighborhood both grinning and trying to hide all at the same time![]()

Loud? Scale 1 to 10?Installed my new Dean Speed Rampage slip-ons. Weird feeling riding through the neighborhood both grinning and trying to hide all at the same time![]()
I am honestly not qualified to put them on that kind of a scale, sorry. I rode with them some more today and I am getting where I like them, quite a lot actually.Loud? Scale 1 to 10?
I have some on order with the baffles and I’m very interested to see how the sound and loudness compares with my Reinharts. I suspect they will be somewhat quieter but if they are as loud I’m fine with that too 😎I am honestly not qualified to put them on that kind of a scale, sorry. They are considerably louder than factory, not quite "that guy" loud, but still loud enough for me to be a little unsettled in my quiet neighborhood firing up the bike really late or really early in the morning.
If you force me to put them on the scale, with the bike off as 0, factory at about 3, and "that guy who competes in the loudest pipes competition" at 10, I would say somewhere around a 7 at a stoplight, 6 or 5 going down the road. Remember that these have the quiet baffles in them directly from Dean Speed.
Another way to look at it, if you have seen the show Sons of Anarchy, this bike would fit right in![]()
Oh man that blue is gorgeous!Well, I added some parts from Dean Speed, handlebar, sissy bar, crash bars, pulley cover, clutch cover, also added the saddlemen passenger pillion

Is the sissy bar pad removable? If so, with how much ease? Wouldn’t want to hide the decal unless a passenger needed the pad.Well, I added some parts from Dean Speed, handlebar, sissy bar, crash bars, pulley cover, clutch cover, also added the saddlemen passenger pillion

Where did you find that stator cover in black with the silver contrast letters and image? That looks really sharp!Installed a dynojet quickshifter on my S60 this weekend then took it out for a nice test ride. The install was interesting to say the least. Initially the new shift rod wouldn’t thread in and after talking with DJ it was determined they packed the wrong one so they sent me the correct one and made it right. The tank was easy enough to pull off but plugging into the front injector was a pita....I almost gave up several times as it was a nightmare trying to get the retaining clip out on the injector plug in. Anyways after all that I couldn’t get my bike to shift through all the gears so I called DJ again and they help me identify the problem (my fault that time). It was pretty frustrating installing but now on the other hand......
I wish I had known about this product a couple years ago lol, it’s freaking awesome. Shifting is a breeze, super fast, and without any kind of hitching especially at higher rpms 6k+ which is the only way I ride my scout unless just cruising at highway speeds. Highly recommend!

Thanks! I actually had it powder coated that way at a local shop awhile back. I had bought the reduced reach bars but didn’t like the chrome look so I had the bars, brake/clutch levers, and cover done all together.Where did you find that stator cover in black with the silver contrast letters and image? I did the same exact thing with my reduced reach bars and levers - so much betterThanks! I actually had it powder coated that way at a local shop awhile back. I had bought the reduced reach bars but didn’t like the chrome look so I had the bars, brake/clutch levers, and cover done all together.
