finally got around to making a seat lanyard, ended up that when the seat is hanging it makes a good place to lay your tools while working with battery or making connections. also made these bungee spools for about 10 bucks. Auto part Engine Fuel line Vehicle Wire

I installed some comfort upgrades today-- New Corbin solo saddle which I ordered to look as close to stock as possible. I also installed standard scout 60 handlebars and a +3" barnett clutch cable as an alternative to reduced reach bars. No brake line extensions necessary. The only thing I wasn't able to complete was putting the mirrors back on. My dealer sold me some self-locking handlebar grip mounts (pictured) that they said they've used in the past as an alternative to welding bungs in the bars. Turns out they don't fit. I like the idea of using something like this. Anyone know of any that are a bit smaller and would fit the scout bars?

If it’s possible find a local machine shop for the bars end mirror locks they should be able to make a pair to fit inside the 7/8” bars. I just installed bars from Dean Speed and that is what he gave me to use for my mirrors, go to his website to contact him he will probably sell you a pair deanspeed.com . Great looking Scout , love the matte white

Installed my new Corbin Brave seat. It looks better than I could have possibly imagined , not to mention how it just holds me in place along with the comfort. My best upgrade by far .

Put my Bassini pipes on AGAINI added another washer to my lollipop I made, now so it's close the the baffles also took the Bassini baffle out and replaced it with a 8 inch el-cheapo one from e bay
Definitely a lot easier on the ear so i'm happy about the result
The baffles in the picture show the Bassini baffles. the ebay one is on the left with a lot neater wrapping i'd like to try the 12 inch baffle if I could source one for the 3 inch slip ons though

Seat looks sick! I've been keen to get a Corbin and this has done it for me...

Unexpected bonus at work last week. First place I go is RevZilla and Amazon, lol.

FMB Mayhems in 8"
K-Tech Bullits
Extended reach foot controls
added some gaiters to the forks and blacked out the area under the nacelle

(it's always late when I get on here, I'll post pics tomorrow! and a review of the Bullits, unbelievable so far!)

I just put on my black levers last night. Looks so much better. What did you guys use to cover the chrome on the forks? Do you have to take the wheel off to get them on?

I used golf tubes to cover the chrome on the upper forks. These to be exact: https://www.amazon.com/Player-Supreme-Golf-Tubes-Dividers/dp/B01MQDD0N0

Just cut to length, slice down the middle and slide them on. I didn't have to take anything off the bike. I just use the turn-signal clamps as means to keep them on.

Great investment! I love mine. Especially since I have most of the neighborhood kids coming and going through my garage. An ounce of prevention....
Hi - I missed exactly what it is you are using to hold the bike upright in this thread?
Found a Chrome Ignition Cover on EBAY for $25.00 , couldn't pass it up. Was in very very good condition.

Get them at Walmart.
Hoping to have the LED lighting complete by next Sunday. Wiseco HC piston set is in. Wrap the pipes, and she should be ready to go. Been too hot to be out in the shop working on her lately.

so I wanted some pin striping done on my bike and found a guy who said he's been doing it all his life so away I went thinking of what kind of vinyl stuff he would have to put on...boy was I wrong...this guy hand painted some feathers and conchos on the tank and a few lines on fenders. Really happy with his artistic work.

Dart Marlin Dark Tint Flyscreen was looking a little plain , so I added an Indian Scout 60 tank script to it:
