finally got around to making a seat lanyard, ended up that when the seat is hanging it makes a good place to lay your tools while working with battery or making connections. also made these bungee spools for about 10 bucks. Auto part Engine Fuel line Vehicle Wire

Ouch.:(

Edit: Wait. Are we looking at the shocks? Or the exhaust?
The Shocks :), the scrape was from a high side a few weeks back. Will fix the cosmetic damage from that, over the winter.

Fitted Aeromach floorboards this morning. Thanks Dr Shifty.
Here they are compared to stock pegs. I also have the extended reach foot controls.

Not sure what the difficulty is in removing the wire locking ring - took me 10min to fit both. Two small common screw driver - one to hold the wire, the other to stretch it off the pin - then pliers to remove.

Will take it out for a spin tomorrow and see how they go.

Put a brake light modulator on this weekend figuring it would be good to have with the day's getting shorter. Super easy install but tightening the zip ties was a bit of a pain since I could barely fit my hands in the space.

The connections are right under the rear fender by the brake light. After you connect everything you have several zip ties you can loop through different points and secure it tightly up against the inside of the fender and rear brake assembly. It's really easy and only a little annoying due to it being a tight space to get your hands in.

Installed Progressive suspension springs on the front end of my bobber today . Ordered Ohlins STX36 IN 524 Last week for the rear . Coming from over sea so it will be a few weeks before they arrive.
How easy was the Indian USB kit to install
very easy , plug and play wiring , if your Scout is a 2018 , 2017 models will require you to run a new wire from the seat area to the headlight harness area, that wire is included in the kit. The only issue i had was getting my fat fingers on the speedo connector to remove the housing.
Dean Speed Sissy Bar mount with OEM saddle bags. Took a little machining and re-engineering to keep the clearance between bag and fender so the bags sit right, but it's possible.

Your whole setup is nice, but those bags are awesome
What did I do today..... I gazed lovingly upon the 60 and 69, snug in their winter berths, and sighed sadly, for the weather hath gone to shit and the ladies are tucked in for the winter. Sad months ahead until they rise like a phoenix and roar down the roads once again.

I broke it! Currently stranded at work waiting on a tow truck. Bike won't turn over. Ugh, less than 2,000 miles on it. :(

Settled on a pair of Avon Cobras
AV71 130/90 - 16 front
AV72 180/65 - 16 Rear tight fit but handles a lot better and looks so much nicer, soft compound so wont get great milage but preffer grip anyway
