Added a Corbin seat from a fellow forum member, wadded up 3M ribbon sealer, and applied silicone to the rear fender base to keep dirty water away from electrical components,and added this super groovy key fob she got me as a birthday gift!!

Cool...but that is going to scratch up the chrome housing around the ignition sooner or later.

Finally changed the stock exhaust on my wife's 2016 scout installed a set of Samson Cannons WoW what a difference she wanted loud she got loud LoL and seems to have a lot snappier throttle response

Yup. Just installed mine tonight and agree 100%. Great look and great sound even w baffles in. Paid $100. Great deal.

Also, replaced stock headlamp w/PIAA bulb.

Added the GoCruise 2 chrome throttle lock.

Changed stock headlight to a Sunpie Daymaker.

Tried to figure out what is powered by the wires spliced into the headlight plug wires by previous owner but gave up (it was 100 degrees in the garage). I guess it’s not a big deal since whatever it is should still be getting power from that harness.

Added passenger pegs.

Tightened up clutch cable.

Installed Indian passenger pillion seat, sissy bar w backrest and luggage rack. Saddlebags should arrive soon and on they will go.

Replaced stock grips with Avon Tan Gel & Chrome grips. MUCH better ergonomically and a lot better looking.

Sorry, I was away on vacation. Did anyone assist with your brake recall question? If not, it says some Scouts may have left the factory with air in the brake lines. Your dealer will purge and check them for free. It's recall number: 18V416.

Finished up installing the complete Legacy Series of chrome accents from Kuryakyn.

Also replaced stock turn signal bulbs w LED bulbs.

And finally installed the Vizi-Tec Supabrake II Rear Brake Light Modulator.

Adjusted the shocks this evening, holy crap what a difference. The 2018 Base Scout shocks aren't half bad. For some odd reason, the left one was way off from the right one. Brand new bike and that's how it was delivered. SMH

Protip on shock adjustment: Don't try counting turns on each shock to get them equal. Just measure from bolt to bolt. If they're the same distance, you're good.

Did you tighten or loosen?

Loosened. 12" from bolt to bolt before getting on. I'm about 220 lbs. Didn't measure it after I got on, just test rode it and going to let it ride as is.

Got it. Any saddlebags or other heavy add-ones?

Gave my cousin the Billet Scout Clutch Arm Cover for his Scout , because my son purchased me the Official Indian Chrome version for my 60.

Nice!! I’ve got the chrome one coming too. Also the chrome master cylinder covers.
