Just did a short test ride to dial in the clutch adjustment as the rain came in. The bars feel real comfortable, with a bend in my elbow and no overreach. I'll do a longer ride this weekend, but so far I'm really liking them! How do you like the feel of the new bars?
Thanks for posting that. I have the arrow floorboards, and wasnt sure about the grips. Mainly i wasn't sure i could install them. I switched handlebars last month and figured out how to switch the grips, so that's no longer a worry. Now that I see them on the bike, they've been ordered.Installed Kuryarkyn Spear Grips from Custom Cruiser
I had the exact same thing. The tm80 draws too much power. Install a relay for it, or you run the risk of burning out the horn switch and possibly a fire. Don't use the horn again until you do this! Had to have my switch housing replaced, and nearly started a fire. Have your dealer help you if they can.Installed Stebel TM80 low, pressed twice no sound and then electrics cut off, had to pull over and then the electrics came back on. No relay installed
Anyone with an idea?
It pops right off. Use a small screw driver under the edge. It's a tight fit, so if you get it powder coated, they might want to leave the inside un- coated. How do you get the ring off? Want to plasti-dip it. Did it with the headlight chrome ring and love how it complements the black LED light.
