Chrome version here, simply because I have a black and chrome theme going overall.

Really great to cover that rubber hose. Those kinds of things aren’t easy to keep a clean look, so that little metal piece is a great improvement.
Any pictures of the kuryakyn hose cover in chrome? I'd like to see it with the red scout.

Today I found my bike not starting anymore. My battery seems to be broken. A few weeks ago, the motor hardly started, then I observed the voltagemeter in the display and it dropped voltage below 10V while turning the starter. The battery was all the time at the battery charger and today the Motor can't be started anymore. Voltagemeter drops very fast, all lights off and bike is dead, when hitting the starter.
I can start the bike with jumper cables and another battery. When the motor is running the battery is charging and voltagemeter shows 14,1 - 14,3V.

Bike is from 2021, about 4000km and nearly all the time connected to a battery tender.
And by the way my new Pathfinder adaptive Headlight is fogging up in the lower section.

So, what is going on with the quality of Indian Motorcycles?!

My Honda from 2013 still have the first battery and no problems and beside this no problem at all so far.

Next week the bike get inspection at the dealer. From my understanding, this should be covered by warranty.

Installed LED indicators. For this I took the OEM LED Bobber indicators from the housing, they just pop out, and installed them in the Scout housings of the halogen indicators. The Halogen indicators are also easy to remove from the housing. Turn them to unlock and get them out. The LED indicators fit but are loose and there is a gap between indicator and housing. For this I used pvc tape and taped the led indicators to make them bigger in diameter so they hold in the housing and to eleminate the gap I cut the genuine rubber gasking and put it in beetween, just the right thickness. For the electrical connection just add the correct terminals. There might be a way with some cutting or glue but it works so far and looks close to original. ^^ Same in the rear. Sadly no photos of the other steps made.

I'm not an electrician but if the red and black wires copper connectors are just loose in the turn signal housing bouncing around while riding may make them touch and cause a problem. Were the wires originally plugged into the light bulb thereby keeping them separate? It might be a good idea to get some heat shrink and cover the copper connector and part of the wire. Then only apply heat and shrink the heat shrink over the wire leaving it unshrunk over the terminal so you can plug and unplug the wires if needed.
Thank you for your hint. Good idea with the heat shrink tubing.
To answer your question: Yes, originally they were plugged in the light / bulb and kept seperate.

I used the connectors as the following ones, so hopefully no shortscircuits:

I pulled the light out and took a photo:

Maybe I will add some extra tape to the connectors to be safe.

I thought the scouts came with led non servisable bulbs , or is it after the 2018 models ?
The Scout Bobber comes with LED and the "normal" Scout comes with Halogen Bulbs.
I took the Bobber LED "module" out of their housing and put it in the chrome housing of the "normal" scout. You can easily pull the LED module out of the housing and same with the Halogen "module" with the bulb by turning them to unlock an then pull them out.
For this I bought cheap nearly brand new used front led indicators of the bobber scouts.
