Added some crash bars to the bobber. Don't mind the extremely filthy bike...

I like em, but haven't ridden with them yet. Unfortunately while putting on a vertical license plate mount I stripped the fender bolt threads 😕 the sissy bar was just giving me too much trouble aligning everything and wammo. Going to take the rear wheel off and tap from the backside to ensure it's clean the whole way through and start over. Bummer, but hopefully should be a quick fix. Soft material on these rear subframes I was kind of surprised

Alright, threads are all cleaned up and bike is back together. Finished up the vertical license plate mount as well. Love the look of it but with the 180 rear I might try and side shift it a tiny bit more just for piece of mind

This is probably old news with respect to floorboards--thought I'd share my recent experience with the group. I have a 2021 Scout Bobber Twenty. I'm working on a series of upgrades slowly due to cost. I decided to install floorboards because the pegs were uncomfortable for longer rides. I found the floorboards on the Indian Accessories and Parts site Floorboards from Indian They were $330. I found cheaper floorboards for my bobber on Amazon at KYN for Indian They were $159. I included a photo below. They appear to be near the same as the Indian OEM flooboards with the exception of the "Indian" logo that I'll have to attach to the floorboards. I'll get these installed tomorrow. Wish you all the best--ride safe!

Keep us posted on the install and obviously pictures once they're on. I've seen them as well and like the price much better but haven't been able to pull the trigger just yet!

I'll post pics when I put these on so the "what I did today" will have part 1 and part 2.
Part 1 was finalized my order with Bri for custom tank details. If anyone has seen the other threads she makes some of the best decals as they fit more true to the lines and size of the tank. Here is an example from another thread. The proof for mine is below that in matte grey

Vans grips and removed the Indian lettering from the tank so I can put my new vinyl details on (when they arrive)

Tank looks great without any graphics

Trust me I stared at it for quite some time considering if it should be left as is! Ultimately though with the thunder black gloss paint and the matte frame and other parts it kind of looks a little off to me. The new graphics are matte grey so it will add a small bit of contrast

Over the last 2 or 3 weeks preparing for spring, installed new Riot mini boards, fat toe pegs, motogadget glassless mirrors, bar ends, and grips, as well as license plate relocation. Got her all washed up and ready!

Definitely use that practice piece. 2 people and soapy water!

I saw most people prefer the hinge method with this oracal vinyl, what made you opt for the wet method?

Pretty sure I did hinge with constant spraying.

If you tape down the middle and laid one 'side' at a time then you technically did hinge. I should have said dry hinge method is what I've seen for the most part. Did you use the metal squeegee provided or get a pliable version?

Did the hinge wet from head to back. I actually used a professional squeegee with a cloth side and hard, fingers as well. Definitely wasn't a fan of the metal card.

Good to know in advance! I'll probably end up going wet method as well, just seems easier to get in place.

Looks great by the way and it seems like you got them pretty quick!

Yesterday:
Had Indian Dealer install Pirelli Night Dragons F&R.
Got home and tightened the front brake caliper that they didn't.

Today installed Progressive springs and 20wt oil in the forks.
Installed Progressive 413s in the rear.

Installed Tank Machine underseat LED. Love the stealth custom fit

Bossman I gotta ask, are those stock shocks? If so it appears you have those cranked quite a bit are you still sitting around 275mm once loaded?

Ordered the memphis shades gauntlet full kit last night - only thing I'm unsure of is if the bobber sixty needs the headlight block. Memphis shows the bobber 69 needing it - and that makes sense since it has a different style headlight mount but it doesn't call out needing the block for the 60. Only time will tell (unless anyone else can confirm?)

Gonna do the gauntlet fairing install today. Pics to come! Didn't end up getting the headlight extension block because I couldn't find a single piece of info that the sb60 needs it, just the sb69. Hopefully that's right and I don't have to purchase and wait on that tiny little piece
