Cheiftain floorboards fit on a Scout????!!!!! tell me more!
Normally they don't, I happen to score an adapter kit made by Klockwerks that allows them to be used. I hope Klockwerks starts making these kits again because if I got another Scout, I'd probably do the same thing. It is about the most expensive option out there for floorboards however because the floorboards themselves have to be bought separately.

Not to be negative....
Just thinking --- without both supports on such a long floorboard, do you have any worries of torquing it if you put too much weight on the back 1/3 of the board --- say if you put your full weight on them lifting yourself up for an extra large bump?

That's my only wonderment.

I'd love to hear how you do for cornering clearance. Probably wouldn't make it better. As it is, I have to ride with my heels up on top of the pegs. I've worn a 45° angle on them from scraping --- and that's with modified suspension.

Great mod --- looking forward to your finished project!
You have a great question with the mounting. I don't think it would be an issue as the mounting surface is large and is supported by three bolts. The entire floorboard is supported from underneath. Check out the pic. Unless you weigh 300lb or more I don't think I's worry about it.

I'm not a geometry genius but I think the lean angle won't change much as the floorboards seem to sit higher than the native pegs.

I been wonder about these... did you have it painted to match your bike... or did they do it? Looks Good! Im with the big fender look...
Klockwerks sends these fenders out with a black "primer" on it . You have to paint it or wrap it... My wrap will be in soon as a tester for the front fender and if I like it I will wrap the rest of my bike. Otherwise I have a paint supplier that already has the formula for the color I want to change my bike to.

Do you guys think these handlebars would fit the scout? I used to own a Honda Magna with buckhorns and it was a really comfortable. I'm particularly looking for bars that would make scout slimmer to lane split easier with, and I figured buckhorns would do it.

The "wide" version has shorter dimensions according to the description, but I can't really tell any major differences from the pictures.
The problem is that Scout bars are 7/8ths at the controls. So you have two choices. One is find 7/8ths versions of those bars and shim them at the handlebar clamps or two, have someone cut and wled 7/8ths grip areas to those bars.

I changed out my handlebars to Emgo beach bars and used some reproduction vintage style grips off Amazon. I also raised my headlight 2.5" which forced me to remove the fancy wire cover. We'll see how I like that part in a week.
I plan on doing some more wire management once I make sure this will all work out the way I want. Test ride felt great. Plant Tire Fuel tank Sky Wheel
