I always thought that the round indented portion of the front pulley cover was just begging for some eye candy. So I bought this off of Eric at Vic Baggers. I believe it's intended to be a cam cover for the Thunderstroke 111 motors, but it's diameter of 3.5" makes it a perfect addition to the Scout pulley cover. I hand painted the letters and numbers to match other accents on my bike.

Sweeeet!
Bike looks great!
My Scout makes me smile, as well, and way more than my $26,000 Chieftain with every performance mod available ever did.

How would you describe the difference before vs after the PV3?

You know what? You need black low profile mirrors :)
Regarding the black low profile mirrors, I installed a pair of satin black Kuryakyn Hex mirrors on my Sixty. Very happy with them!

Now that you are in "peel-off" mode, time to take off those front fork reflectors. Looks like you already took off the rear reflector.
After I removed my fork reflectors, I thought the forks looked too bare. So I painted what I call "warpaint stripes" on them. I ended up doing this on a couple other locations on the bike as well.

JustinScout, did you do a swap out on your throttle body cover or was that stock in 2017?
If it was a swap, is it as easy as a new cover and mounting bracket? The 1901 cover definitely has its mounting screws in a different place that the 2021 “2 bars and a bolt” one.
No swap out, that is the way it came stock.

I love that fat little thing. I call him "Stubby". I got my rear caliber rebuilt on the Road King and still haven't hooked it up. Having too much fun running around on the Scouts. I have been surprised how much power is in there after 4500 rpm. It would eat my 103HO.
The Scout is SUCH a fun little ride!!

I applied the mid-frame "Medicine Wheel" decals which I got from Jason (@Wulf ) at Brave Wolf Customs.

I also purchased the "Skull Warbonnet" full size tank decals, but it will be at least a few days before I have time to remove the stock badges and carefully apply the new ones.

Had me fooled, too!
So the Chemical Guys wax is some really good stuff? I almost bought some a while back, but haven't tried it yet.
