finally got around to making a seat lanyard, ended up that when the seat is hanging it makes a good place to lay your tools while working with battery or making connections. also made these bungee spools for about 10 bucks. Auto part Engine Fuel line Vehicle Wire

Tuesday I picked up saddlebags, windshield, floorboards; installed them after work throughout the week. Last night I picked up the Aeromach heel/toe shifter and finished fine tuning the pegs this morning. Took it to run some errands at the Kroger nearby for the wife, then took a long ride around the lake, down to Commerce City, then up Riverdale Road (only real twisty we go close by) and back home. 500 mile maintenance coming up in less than 50 miles!

You must be in Northglenn, CO by the sounds of it. Used to love driving Riverdale back in the day when I lived up there.

Got some pics? Would make a nice separate thread about easy upgrades.
I'm just gonna install GP Shortys and rev the engine instead of using the horn XD

Ask if you can keep the sheet you have in the pic, the one covering the crate.
I forgot to, but should be no problem..and a cool souvenir!
Haha, already did! Plan on hanging it in the garage or basement lol. Hopefully I can fold it up enough to fit into a backpack for the ride home.
And she's built! Bobber Anne will be mine at 10AM! I may not be able to sleep.

Love the Bobber Anne reference, Ba, Ba, Ba........
Haha, thinking about maybe my first ever vanity plate. BBR ANN. But I still think it's douchey so maybe not lol

I brought her home!

Introducing Bobber Anne!

Put 145 miles on her to get home from the dealer, ripped off the stock mufflers, slapped on some GP Shortys, then sealed out the stock headlamp for an LED option.

Pulled off the excessive "bling" they add in the US, and removed the tank sticker. It took more effort than I expected to get the glue tape off the forks.

While not bling, reflectors aren't much help in keeping riders safe. Many places require only 1, usually rear facing, for example the UK and Australia.
I agree, if a cager isn't going to see or hear my loud white bike, a little sparkly bit of plastic isn't going to rectify that. It is my job to look out for them, because I assume no one sees me to begin with.

Any issues with having to glue it? Did you get the 7/8 size?

Added a little vinyl to my nacelle to try out an idea in my head. Really liking it actually. Also, not a terrible job for my first ever work with vinyl wrap.

Jimbobbington where did you get the exhaust tips from?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Those are the Radiant GP Shortys, picked them up on Amazon.

Thanks mate, love the look of the shorty pipes and the photos, lol.

Did you have to re-tune? If not any popping under acceleration or other issues?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No retune, no backfiring. I've heard a slight pop or two under deceleration when driving aggressively from time to time, but not a common or constant occurrence. Will be getting an intake and custom tune next year.

Also can’t wait to see the finished product!
They're done! Just need to wait for shipping from Spain lol. I think they're going to look badass!

Already brain storming on more ways to gently draw turquoise into my build...

Hmmm...

I like what you did with the headlight nacelle. Grips look great, maybe whitewalls next tire change?
Thanks! I've never been a fan of whitewalls but it may just make sense!
