Installed my new Corbin Brave seat. It looks better than I could have possibly imagined , not to mention how it just holds me in place along with the comfort. My best upgrade by far .

Installed the Corbin Brave saddle on the Scout yesterday. Went with all black leather, stitching, logo and no welt. I had been riding with Indian’s Extended Reach seat. It was a lot better than the stock seat but I wanted a little more back support. After about an hour ride, my back and butt felt pretty good; a lot better than with the previous seat. I love my Corbin brave .. for someone y’all and wanting comfort . It has been my best upgrade yet.

Installed the Indian Performance Air Intake and had the dealership do the flash. I already have 4” Khrome Werks slip ons and I can tell a difference in the throttle response for sure and and slightly deeper exhaust note . I had a voucher for the air intake so I was only out 50.00 for the stage one flash.

I am happy with the result and for the cost and what I wanted out of it, I am definitely content with the outcome .

Just got my Scout back from the shop yesterday evening - new Racetech fork springs and valve emulators, new Barrett clutch cable, new battery, and an oil change. Fork change makes the front end much better behaved.

Doing the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride tomorrow in Santa Monica. Should be decent weather.

How much did the springs and valve emulators cost if I may ask . That is my next project is to correct that on mine

Changed out oversized Scout Grips to the Avon Memory Foam Grips. Much better and I like they extended a little further too.

I did my “5,000 mile inspection” on my Scout Sixty today after getting home from work.

March 28 will be one year I have had my bike . I see keeping this one for a long time . I may add another , but for my work commute and local afternoon/ evening rides , it’s hard to beatthe Scout

New Freedom Shield arrived today this is the 24' medium dark tint. I hade the Indian 21" but I am 6'5" and the wind noise in the helmet was murder. Now the wind skips just over the top of my helmet.

I am waiting on my mount to come in.. I have the 24 as well and I’m 6’4. Can’t wait to try it out

I'm 6'2" and the 19 is killing me

Sounds like the FS 24 is working for him. I’ll let you know too how it works for when I put it on this week. May want to opt for that one

I mounted the FS 24 on my Scout 60 using OEM brackets . I also have the 10’ mini apes. It does work, but you have to remove the shield from the brackets to install and remove . There is room between the the mirrors/master cylinder but it is close.

However it does work and I did go for a quick ride in between storms .. I will say it does keep all the wind off my chest. While there is some minor buffeting on top of my helmet, it is. It isn’t much and I figured there would be some .

I’m going to do a long Interstate Ride running around 75-80 for an hour before I take the tape off to see if I’m going to keep it. So far I am impressed on how it performs with the short 30 minute I was able to get in.

I just installed a Wisamic 5.75 led headlight with halo on my 2015 Scout! Easy install and works great so far. Middle of the afternoon install so the pictures don't really do it justice as to how bright it is. Going to try it out tomorrow night for the true test.

It will work very well and a fraction of the cost of the Pathfinder light . I have it on mine .
