Put a brake light modulator on this weekend figuring it would be good to have with the day's getting shorter. Super easy install but tightening the zip ties was a bit of a pain since I could barely fit my hands in the space.

SupaBrake-3 INDIAN
where does the supabrake mount ? are the connections made under the seat?

The connections are right under the rear fender by the brake light. After you connect everything you have several zip ties you can loop through different points and secure it tightly up against the inside of the fender and rear brake assembly. It's really easy and only a little annoying due to it being a tight space to get your hands in.
Thank you !!! will be ordering soon

How easy was the Indian USB kit to install
very easy , plug and play wiring , if your Scout is a 2018 , 2017 models will require you to run a new wire from the seat area to the headlight harness area, that wire is included in the kit. The only issue i had was getting my fat fingers on the speedo connector to remove the housing.

I installed some comfort upgrades today-- New Corbin solo saddle which I ordered to look as close to stock as possible. I also installed standard scout 60 handlebars and a +3" barnett clutch cable as an alternative to reduced reach bars. No brake line extensions necessary. The only thing I wasn't able to complete was putting the mirrors back on. My dealer sold me some self-locking handlebar grip mounts (pictured) that they said they've used in the past as an alternative to welding bungs in the bars. Turns out they don't fit. I like the idea of using something like this. Anyone know of any that are a bit smaller and would fit the scout bars?

If it’s possible find a local machine shop for the bars end mirror locks they should be able to make a pair to fit inside the 7/8” bars. I just installed bars from Dean Speed and that is what he gave me to use for my mirrors, go to his website to contact him he will probably sell you a pair deanspeed.com . Great looking Scout , love the matte white

Do the new bars make it much more comfortable to ride? Less hunched over? What is your height? Also plan on a Corbin seat to add to the comfort as well.
The new bars do help some, not a big difference, you only gain about 2 inches if I remember correctly,
contact Dean Speed he will custom make a length for you or just pick a different bar with more of a reduced reach on his site. The fit and finish is top notch !!! As for the Corbin seat I'm on the fence now because of Indian coming out with the Comfort Seat (I think thats the name of the seat)for the Bobber and it only cost 260.00 LOL.

Went up to Indian over the weekend with a buddy and picked up a couple of the new Comfort Seats. I can tell you they're night and day difference while keeping the stock look. Indian did us a solid on the price at $250. They also have a promotion right now if you spend a certain amount so at $500 for the (2) we got $125 off.
Wow I thought they wouldn’t be in stock till mid October thanks for the info

Did you have to extend the lines for those bars?
No sir, But I pulled the bar back for a more reduced reach so my clutch cable is at its max , I will be ordering a Barnett clutch cable with a plus 2” this fall. Also my controls on the bar are turned down a bite more then I want so I will drill new hole for the placement pin when I replace the clutch cable . If you are thinking about new bars call Dean Speed and ask him to drill an extra set of hole for the placement pins so you can adjust them the way you want .
