When I had my 2015 Scout I loved that they had a regular thread where the entire community dropped in what they added, modded, upgraded, painted, etc to their bike.

Would like to start that here! Post what you did to your Chieftain today...

I haven't heard stage I pipes but they sound about the same as my Victory stage 1 pipes did... medium deep to deep.. not overly loud and you can still hear the stereo going down the road... but it sounds like a motorcycle... all that said I'm way past the loud stage of my life and the stock was ok too.... in fact my buddy has stock with the plug knocked out and these are a tad louder and deeper... I'll measure the baffles for sure some time... but to me they look like 2.5" and the stock look 1.75" that's eye ballin' so take it with a grain of salt... there is a video with sound floating around somewhere on here...

Thanks, that sounds promising. I too am way past the loud stage of life. I like the sound of my stock 2019, but a bit deeper at that price I'd consider.

Care to share how you hook them up and what kind of lights you used? I was just telling a friend of mine I wish I had lights in the bags.

Lights in saddlebags??

I dont know why (well I have a couple ideas anyway) the factory doesn't install lights in the saddlebags. My ideas are: more S#!÷ to break, a wire harness headache, more cost, etc.... But for $30k for a bike, why isn't there a small LED light inside the bag so folks that ride at night dont...

Installed a new battery in my 2015 Chieftain. The old one was the OEM battery. Figured it didn’t owe me anything.

I'd be more than happy to unburden either one of yours. I had only planned on using one side as well.....

Swapped the 12" light tint shield to a 14" dark tint
JES lowers
Eagle Slimline Headlight

Installed the Mutazu's 4in slip ons. Now they can hear me on group rides. I don't mind being the quiet one at a party, but not on my bike. LOL

Got my Ultimate tall boy seat today that I got off ebay. Got it installed and took it for a spin. I like the seating position. I'll have to wait until I can get it out for a long ride to find out if I really like it.

Added clear lens tail lights and Custom Dynamics Smart Triple Play. Now I have rear running lights and shock & awe brake lights. Cagers can’t say they didn’t see brake lights... if this doesn’t get their attention - nothing will. Now waiting for my wind deflector

If you do get that solo rack I have the Indian leather messenger bag that is designed to go on that rack. It has never been used. I bought it for my wife for a laptop bag but it was too big and heavy for her. I need to sell it also LOL

Splitt - does the seat move you higher besides placing you further back?
