Do you have to do splice on the lenses?

Yeah. Not much length once you pull the OEM lens off. Gotta cut them flush and then use the supplied crimps. I have mine but waiting to see if I really really want to do this mod. Kinda prefer the whole "torpedo" replacement.

I have the Custom Dynamics Ringz and the Supabrake 3 installed on my 16 Chieftain .
I did, thou , welded all the wire connections and heat shrink covered them all , instead of using the fast crimps included . That way I avoid any future hiccups .
The Supabrake 3 works great , flashing the red lights 3 times every time I brake , modulating perfectly and with tremendous visibility .
I have added a set of two 7 inch red LEDs strips to the rear of the bike (sort of like the set from Kuryakyn but without the chrome) on each side of the rear fender , below the side fender chrome , barely noticeable when off , that work in conjunction with the lights and the Supabrake 3 brake light system … that is , the LEDs strips and factory light are on normally when running , but when I use the brake they increase the intensity and flash/modulate 3 times along with the rear light , giving tremendous visibility and attracting the attention of the drivers behind … very healthy solution , if you ask me , lol...

I like your setup! I was wondering how the black rings would look with the chrome. That's what I've got but I'm leaning towards getting the whole "bullet/torpedo" (whatever you want to call it) instead of just the rings.

Got my taillight housing powder coated! I like it better than the chrome. Bike had too much chrome on her from the factory. Lol!

How do you like that Corbin versus the two piece seat?

Love it! I think it flows with the bike. My girl rides with me so this was a better option for us. We tried the Ultimate Seat but she didn't like the passenger seat. She said it wasn't as comfortable as the corbin plus it lifted both of us up which we didn't like.

I'll be replacing mine tomorrow with Michelin Commander 2's. Read some reviews that people liked them. Heard good reviews on the Elite 4's but I like the Michelin's better. We'll see how long they last.
