I hope everyone is doing well. CVMA Sooner here. I have a 2019 Indian Roadmaster. I finished a ride the other day, turned off the bike and went inside. Came out later to put the bike in the garage. Hit the starter and heard a pop. Almost like a fuse blew. The electrical on the bike was dead. No electrical power at all. Took the seat off and charged the battery. After a full day of charging the electrical on the bike was working again. I hit the starter and watched a spark move along the electrical harness from under the tank to about where the electrical harness splits into 3 connectors going to the ECU (sorry if that is not the correct name) and then end. The electrical is still working and the bike did start up. I am going to remove the tank this weekend and try and trace the electrical harness to see if I have an exposed wire.
All that to say, any ideas on what I should be looking for or a starting point or should I just start at the top and take the time to check every wire until I see a problem?
Thanks,
CVMA Sooner
