Uh, no link showing up on my IPad.
It's a Flash video from CNBC. Blame Apple! Here's a direct link to the video:

The way they are building up to the launch, i hope it does not dissappoint! From what i've seen, the engineers have done their job, hope the designers and marketing folk can come through for the brand.

The Indian release is going to generate a lot of buzz. I think their single biggest deterrent is going to be the lack of dealers.
I sent the preview link to a friend who's a big Harley fan and is looking for a 2nd 'around town' bike. We've had the Victory discussion but it hasn't been enough to sway him. His response to my email indicates to me that his has him seriously interested. He's the perfect demographic, mid 50's, corporate exec with a fair amount of disposable income.
He may go to Sturgis this year just to see this. He's also in Detroit which coincidentally has an Indian dealership. If they didn't I doubt he would consider it.

To your comment MJW 930...............

I'm the imperfect demographic, late 50's, steady job, but no 'disposable income' at this time unless I fake my own death. Maybe your friend would like to 'pay if forward' and pick me up one too and we could ride cross country together. Ok, I know that's a way out request........

I'm interested for sure in this bike, and while money is not availabe at this time, I will at least get to demo one, because there's a dealer near me. I'm also hearing that some Vic dealers are going to try and carry both brands under one roof. That would be more choice. How many dealers are there at present for Indian in the USA?

Having owned 5 Vics I'm confident the Indian bike will be reliable out of the box. What I'm curious about is what the rest of the bike will look like and will the paint job be better quality than that paper thin clearcoat that's on the Vic bikes now. I hope they don't cut corners...........And will there be 'essential accessories' available for real, not just in catalogs and not yet stocked when the bike is released to consumers.

I wish I could get that CEO job in marketing Indian. I would make sure the bike 'suits' the American consumer on all fronts meeting all their needs. But alas, I'm the common man........... a CEO wannabe. But one thing I have been my whole life, is a consumer of many things.............
