As you can see, Polaris CEO has been busy. He was in Sturgis for the Indian unveiling and then back on the East Coast for appearances with CNBC and Bloomberg TV. Those Indian demo bikes have already logged a lot of miles!

Interesting thing he said was that the $7,000 bike would be a mid-size bike that we don't have YET.

Sounds like they might be looking onto an entry level bike. Also found it itereasting that he mentioned that they may have capacity issues for a year or two with demand.

Polaris is going to do very well with Indian.

The entry price will attract potential buyers in to see it.

The test ride may sell it.

Have to say I can't wait to ride them

Which video did you watch? I didn't hear any mention of a $7000 bike.

To clarify, the CNBC host is the one who mentioned th $7K - $8K price and Wine respnded with '...the mid-sized bikes which we don't make YET.'

Someone needs to tell Scott Wine that yes, it's a push button start, but I think he meant to say Keyless!

Also, on the Bloomberg video, did anyone notice the starter sounded a bit familiar? And, the exhaust note, which I'll 'assume' is stock, doesn't sound the same as the note on the factory videos.

At about the 2:20 mark the host mentions a price point of 7 or 8 thousand to which Scott replies something about that is an entry level that we don't make 'yet'
I will agree that these bikes are having a lot of miles put on them, too bad it is just in shipping and not with me riding them. Maybe sometime soon I will get the oppurtunity.

Ah, I didn't get the CNBC video on my iPad so all I watched was the Bloomturd video. Yes, the starter sounds very familiar but I if you notice the anti clipping (auto gain) kicked in on the audio when the bike started so it dialed back the volume quite a bit. I imagine within the Manhattan canyon he was in the bike sounded quite loud.

He's an impressive guy - I like his style. He'll do great things for the value of Polaris stock down the road I think.
