The 15's are getting a hard plastic scoop installed behind the air filter box to divert more air to the rear cylinder head. I have been told by my service dept. that it will be available for 14 owners as an add on for purchase. Any thoughts on this addition?? Couldn't hurt if not too expensive??

I've seen the scoop on a 2015. It is not a very large part and surely would not be very expensive. Air to the rear cylinder is important on all V-twins as I understand it.

Plastic and not chrome. Shouldn't be any more than $399.95

It is not chrome it's barely visible. It's tucked behind the air filter "111" box. I wonder how visible it will be and the look if I go to the big sucker air filter??

It is part of the air filter base assy so a new complete base would have to be installed, could not be retrofitted to the 14 inner housing.
