Mackinac Bridge, Mackinac island, Tunnel of Trees, Bond Falls is pretty cool, the ride up to Copper Harbor is very nice (but not much to do once up there...day trip).
Agree with 39 chev..
Copper harbor is a fun ride ride but he is right not a ton going on but there is a few hotels and a Fantastic German restaurant.. you can get a cold beer at the Gay bar in Gay.
Mackinaw Bridge is a must as well as tunnel of trees..

Ride up to Copper Harbor through the "Tunnel of Trees". There is a lookout point above Copper harbor that offers a nice view. then ride along the shoreline over to Copper Harbor.

If you like ships there is also the Great Lakes shipwreck museum at Whitefish Point.

M-22 Beautiful road through Manistee and Traverse city 116 mile
M-119’s Tunnel of Trees is a 16-mile scenic road that begins in Harbor Springs and ends in Cross Village and eat at Legs restaurant nice outside seating.. This narrow road, designated as a Scenic Heritage Route, (caution: don’t drive this route if you are in a hurry!) and traces an ancient Native American trail along a spectacular bluff overlooking Lake Michigan.

On your way to M22 please visit Grand Rapids. Better known as Beer City. Plus the roads to the south coming north are a lot of fun. M37 and M44 to name two.

Along the shoreline is usually nice with an occasional lighthouse along the way. Mackinac Island is nice, but no motor vehicles of any kind.
