Anyone know what this is for? It has a serial type connector on it, like it could be connected to a computer.
The same logo is on both F/R calipers as well.

Can you see where the wires go?
I don;t recognize that logo.
might be a label on the other side of that module?
It appears that the hacked wires with the butt splices on them go through the back fender and to the tail light and turn signals. Does the connector with the purple wire come from the mystery gadget?

The wire from the module, goes up the left top framerail under the tank somewhere
The rear fender connector wiring follows the right top framerail & appears to be encased/heatshrinked with the battery cable

Thanks.
Appears to be a lighting controller? Is it configurable?
Also, the logo is on the F& R calipers, but that's not on their site...

Was this an OE installed component, or possibly owner added after the fact?

They had many different components, parts over the years. The best way to determine the what and how of them is to give them a call, they may even need pictures to determine what it is.

Their products were used by a few builders throughout the years.

Thunder heart ignition control module. Controls the ignition system. The serial port is for diagnostics. And both calipers are made by them as well.
The harness next to it is for the rear signals, tail and plate lights.

Hudson wins the prize. That is the dual fire ignition module. You need to throw that shit out and get a single fire coil and dyna comp ignition module or similar. That's what we all did back in the day.

I've owned this beauty for nearly 20 years since she was new, 2001 Spirit...
