Actually START dragging it.

Talking to my local mechanic about trailering my Scout on a summer trip this year. NH to MI and beyond. I thought I'd rent a UHaul (he rents them). I have a 2016 Escape SE. He told me to he would not recommend that because after three miles I'd be back complaining to him. Uhaul trailers are heavy.

He knows that I am pretty dog-gone good at that complaining stuff, he's been my mechanic for over 10 years.

Any suggestions on an enclosed trailer? He recommended that I really want 15" tires so Harbor Freight ain't gonna cut it.

I'll pop for 2k tops.

Help me, Obi Wans. You are my only hope.

I have a 5’x8’ V nose. i think it weighs about 1,000 lbs. I wouldn’t think the U haul would be much different in weight. Either trailer might be an issue for the escape with a 600-700 lb bike
