Could you list the steps you followed painting the heads? I've heard a couple of different techniques.

1.Took off side panels and seat. 2. Didn't take fuel tank off, just unbolted it and lifted it 3 inches and put a rubber wedge under it to hold it.3.Took off horn cover and air filter cover. 4.Taped up spark plugs and wires. Used masking paper and cotton towels to make sure no over spray got on anything. 5.You can move hoses around real easy. 6.I used engine paint (enamel). Take your time. Light coats. Don't go with heavy coats cuz you don't want it to run. 7.Paint thinner and thin cotton towels. Wrap it around your finger, dip your fingertip and start wiping. Don't try to get it off all at one time. It will come off. I think it took 2 1/2 hours.
