Safety bell ? 🤔 Horn ? 🫢
The horn was good. thanks.
I put mine in the same area, on the inside of the frame.

Yea, I was eyeing that also.
The challenger is even harder to find a spot. I ended up putting mine in the saddlebag hanging from the latch rail.
The horn (outside or inside) is really a great spot. I changed from outside to inside to reduce the bell slapping against the frame.
It should be attached to the lowest part of the frame. Because gremlins lurk on the roadways and “grab” onto bikes as they pass by, the low-hanging bell should be the first thing they contact, so that they are immediately captured by it.

This is getting complicated LOL.

I ran a high quality made in U.S.A. zip tie (yes there is such a thing) around the frame low in an inconspicuous spot (so you can’t see the tie) and through the split ring.

If you place a bell on your bike yourself, you are defeating the point of the bell; it should be placed as a gift by someone you love traditionally.

Ahhh, that explains why I don't have one !! :ROFLMAO: 😆
I call it a good luck bell.
Everything I've read, its for good luck to ward off gremlins so your bike doesn't suffer mechanical malfunctions.
That is why its supposed to be the lowest point possible, closest to the road...
I'd prefer good luck, in the sense, so some oblivious car/truck driver doesn't smash me like a bug....

What if no one loves you more than yourself?

Only the Scout has this, and then only the Non-California Scouts have it unoccupied. The tab for mounting the charcoal cannister.
