Interesting, hopefully it happens in Australia too, I’ve seen a few of these failures on Facebook and it doesn’t look like a fun fix, having it fail on a ride could be catastrophic

nothing yet on the government recall site but I’ll keep an eye on it

I've now got a message showing in my Ride Command app, but no details of what it is, it just says 'stop sale'.
hopefully the info gets updated here soon.
apparently dealers in the US have already been advised.

I am currently have an order I placed at the end of July for my FTR carbon. It was recently showing as built with a ship date of 9/2.

Now is shows as "scheduled" and when I called them I was advised that this recall is the issue. They also advised that it could take an additional 4 to 6 weeks since they are waiting for parts.

There is no fix available yet.

So nothing the dealers can do other than them telling you not to ride the bike.

The old pn hose still shows on their website. Considering less than 1% of all ftrs actually had a failure. I’m not worried

As of now there is no fix. The repair part is still being designed/manufactured. Dealers were to notified of recall on Sept 2, 2022. Owner notification to begin Sept 30, 2022. Repairs expected to begin later this year

The FTR is almost officially the worst Victory/Indian/Polaris bike ever made...

the historical issues on this bike from its inception is enough to turn any bike enthusiast into an Indian hater...

hopefully the migraines that FTR owners suffer will soon come to an end - I feel bad because the FTR had the potential to be a flagship bike 😭

Lol what?

There haven’t been wide spread major issues with the ftr. Other than the weak batteries and hit or miss tune ( which the same issues are also shared by other polaris/IMC products)

It’s actually been proven to be a pretty reliable platform.

Also for this to only be the second recall in a three year span, also speaks volumes to its reliability.

The recall has been updated. Instead of "Stop Sale", it now shows "FTR Coolant Junction Replace". I am hoping that now my bike will ship from the factory since it was held up due to the recall. Keeping my fingers crossed since I have been waiting since June 28th.

Anyone know if the repair is covered by the dealer? Would be annoying to pay for their mistakes.
