Hi all, I have a 2017 Scout Sixty that is having a problem with the neutral safety switch not lighting up the "N" on the speedometer. It works intermittently, but was getting worse before I put the bike up for the winter.

I've looked at the schematics at the Indian website, but can't seem to find the switch in order to get a part number and location for it. Maybe"neutral safety switch" is not the technical term for it, but I looked at all of the pull-down drawings and didn't see anything listed that sounds like a neutral switch.

I was basically just looking to see where it is located on the bike, to see if I could replace it at home, and how hard it would be.

Anybody ever replaced one of these before, that could give some insight?

Thanks for any help!!

It's located in behind your left ankle. The parts breakdown calls it a gear position switch, even though it doesn't have anything to do with indicating what gear you are in, only when you are not in gear.
