I forgot the name of it But when you buy the solo seat for the bobber you have to order it. It the sub-frame close off cover or something. I think it’s like $50

Could't a local machine / metal shop in your area's make this cheaper? Some companies have some pretty fancy programs and tooling machines to do this type of stuff.
Its nice and cleans up the bike nicely, but wow $480 bucks for a cover plate? I'm going to assume thats $480 US so that works out to almost $630 Canadian plus duties and taxes for me.

 

Yes, they could. But I doubt it’d be this quality finish and fit.

I bought the Tankmachine rear frame finish housing, but it's not matching up to my 1920 Solo Seat Close Off.
Anyone know where to get the seat close off that matches up to the Tank Machine part?

they have a cover that looks like it will match your close off.

I dont know if they sell that part by itself.

That cover is the bobber cover, if you bought the 1920 solo saddle it comes with a close off that's meant for the scout. That's the one you use.

 

Still not clear, all the close off's I'm seeing available look like what I have.
You wouldn't have a link or a part # would you?

I think I get it, the solo seat comes with the correct close off that matches that TankMachine part. The optional Bobber close off does not. My problem is I bought the bike with seat installed so I don't have the original Scout Seat Close off and can't find it listed separately anywhere.

So if I find a close off that came with the solo seat, it will fit on my bobber and line up with the Tank Machine close off?

I went to my dealer today, these are orderable via dealer. Backordered until 12/31/19.

 

Just thought I’d add this in here. For anyone needing a close of if you have a mother roads custom seat. This company is going to start making them this year.

 

Some of you guys may have already seen it, but I have several videos on YouTube, one where I made my own close off. Just type in my user name in the search engine. My next video will be with the radical radius exhaust installed.

I have a 'partial billet close off' on mine. Dependent on what you want to achieve speak to the experts in custom Scout building Moore Speed Racing. They have different variations of the close off and can make and supply whatever you wish.
