I was watching this review from Yammie Noob and at around the 3:20 mark he mentions how the rear tire gives it a strange feeling and wiggles and squirms. I'm wondering if that's because he got on the throttle real hard? I ride pretty conservatively usually around the speed limit or a bit over.

What do you guys think?

agree with the front brake being a little underpowered especially after a performance tune.

Squirrely rear might refer it being able to break traction fairly easily once you start to get on the throttle, think revzilla made similar comments when they reviewed it. The Victory Octane, (upon which the Scout derived a lot of its DNA) had the guiness book of records title for the longest burnout if I recollect correctly. If he's not talking about traction then its possible the rear suspension isn't setup quite right.

Don't overthink it, every bike will have some flaw/character. I like my Scout and in its current iteration it's a bit of a stunner and Indians have a sort of semi mythical ambience for most of the general public (at least over here, thanks Burt). About a year ago I heard a loudish motorcycle approaching in a busy part of the shopping area I frequent and turned around and everyone else turned around at the same time to see a Honda rebel coming around the corner. I noticed everyone (including all the civvies) immediately went straight back to what they were doing after they saw it, no one appeared interested.

So put that in your peace pipe and smoke it....

Overall Yammie Noob and Bikes & Beards both generally loved the Scout. So far the ONLY thing I see that I don't like (that I really can't change) is the size of the fuel tank. I don't normally ride with large groups so I really don't see that as a show stopper.
