hello all, cant seem to find any info on removing a broken shifter peg on a bobber. i found it on the chieftain fb group but i have an 18 scout bobber. does the center of the peg have threads that i will have to drill out? thanks

How far back is the peg snapped back to where it attaches to the shifter? I found a video on the removal of the rear brake peg, but if I'm not mistaken, the shift peg is threaded on in the same manner.

It's the same as on the Chieftain. Just a threaded rod. You can use extractor bits to drill and back out the broken bolt. It's probably a good idea to apply some heat to the area first. As they are normally red loctited on there.
