  1. New 2019 Scout Bobber with only 14 miles. I installed a radiator Guard and realized some coolant residue. I had the performance intake installed by dealer so I'm wondering if this involves disconnecting coolant lines? I know no leak is good but figured I'd troubleshoot before trying to get my bike to the dealer (2 hours away) with limited hours (covid-19). Thanks

Earlier Scouts, including mine, would leak between the thermostat cover and housing. Also, check the bleeder screw up near radiator pressure cap. Use 10mm wrench to check tight.

Lammy1000,

Thank you for the advice, I'll check the bleeder screw when I get a chance. I ended up washing the bike for the first time and do see residue (not as much) as shown in the pictures. I called the dealership and they said some may have leaked when they topped off all the hr fluids. I'll keep you posted.
