I don't think I've seen a bobber specific photo thread so i thought I'd start one up. Post pics of your bobber, accessories, upgrades, etc. I'll kick it off with pics of my scoot the day I brought it home and after installation of the solo bag and V&H slip-ons.

View attachment 373008 A few hours ago; has a whole 3 miles out of the crate. I ripped the little plastic reflector off the rear fender right before that pic. The sales guy was like dang man.
Ripped mine off also....but I waited until I got home. Tank sticker right after that.

Here is mine. Top pic is the day I brought it home in late October.

Second pic shows how it looks today. Installed a 1920 Solo seat with the bobber close-off part. Can't wait to test it out but its been sub-zero temps with snow here in Milwaukee.

Stay tuned for an updated pic later this week when I install the mini apes from Indian. I picked them up at the local dealer saturday, and am waiting on the extended cable kit to be shipped to them later this week. I also plan on paying a visit to the local machine shop tomorrow, so I can have them fabricate a threaded bung to insert into the ends of the mini apes so the stock bobber screw-in bar end mirrors will work with it. They have to make a 18mm OD plug with an M8x1.25 threaded hole in middle. I will have them press this plug into the bar ends, then I will weld it in place, and voila- the stock mirrors will work. I only wish indian had made actual mini apes that already had this plug in place for the mirrors. I was also able to pry off the stock left hand grip off the stock bars, so I do not have to purchase new grips. Another gripe I have with Indian, you cannot purchase the stock throttle tube without grips already mounted on it. I would have simply purchased aftermarket new grips, but I didn't want to ruin the brand new right grip by trying to get it off the throttle tube. You would think Indian would have sorted these issues out by now- ie, apes that acutally work with the bobber and throttle tube part numbers. especially since all their marketing literature shows the bobber with accessory mini-apes installed.

Nice! I'm really interested in seeing your apes with the bar end mirrors. That'll look cool

I'm certainly not a small guy and I don't find the riding position with the drag bars uncomfortable or a problem. I think the drag bars fit the look of the bike better but I can certainly understand the appeal of the apes. I would like to see a pic of a bobber with the beach bars installed. Might look good or it might look goofy

Hi all, I just registered on this site to read all the threads because I'm really into the Indian Scout. I'm from The Netherlands and for now I can't afford to buy a scout, but I hope I can in the near future.

I don't want to bother you all with info about me, I will get straight to my question. Could someone make a picture of their Scout Bobber in portrait mode (make the photo as awesome as you can). I was googling for a wallpaper on my phone and couldn't find one of an Indian Scout (bobber) that was in portrait orientation. So if someone could make a photo for me, then I can use it as a wallpaper on my phone! The hero will get my gratitude and if I somehow miraculously meet you in real life, I will buy you a beer!
