Anybody else with their 2019 Scout having the same problem?? Any ideas on how to resolve?? My shifter peg keeps unscrewing … luckily I noticed it before it came completely unscrewed as I guess it would have fallen out. I have hand screwed it back on … is it now missing a part??

The shifter peg actually has flats on it for tightening it in the lever. You first need to remove the rubber sleeve on the peg. It will pull off over the head of the peg. WD 40 may help here. Apply medium strength Loctite and tighten the peg securely. Reinstall the rubber sleeve.

If it's loose now would be a good time to replace it with an extended one. That little nubbin is dangerous. Replace them both with something useful ,shiny and safe.

Any good suggestions on replacement ones?? Do I need to look for a specific size for the scout or are all interchangeable?

I like the ones from Indian and Aeromach. The ones from Aeromach are good, but I wanted something a little nicer so I got the ones from Indian. Note: Aeromach's come individually so you'll want to order two if you want one for the brake and shifter.

I also would like a slightly longer shift rod for the Bobber. I put the Kurykan mini spears on the bike and now my foot is very tight in there. There's not enough threads to safely adjust it higher.
