Some months ago I purchase a saddleman S3200DE Expandable Sissy Bar Bag (link: S3200DE Expandable Sissy Bar Bag) to use with my 2016 Indian Springfield when touring.
Since then I have undertaken several long trips using this bag which is attached to my Indian OEM passenger back rest via a strong sleeve both seated on my IMT rack (link: Innovative Metal Technologies) and also seated on the passenger seat. Some have said that it would be better for weight distribution to locate the bag on my passenger seat, which I did on one trip, but I cannot notice any difference in handling or anything else.
I don’t have the bag strapped or synched down at all because the sleeve that fits over the backrest is just right for the Indian OEM backrest size. The luggage has never moved and the sleeve has not stretched at all.
Anyway, enough of my ranting I just wanted to share my experience with this luggage which I am very, very happy with. Normal disclaimer – I don’t get anything in return from Saddleman or IMT for my views – I’m just a happy customer.
