I added the tour pack and the lock switch on the dash activates it. The bikes are pre wired for everything. What about the lock/unlock switch on the bike?
I don't have the lock unlock fob. The dash switch works.Only works if you have the fob with the buttons
You'd have modify for that. It's just an electric motor that's missing. Here a link that posted here already. With a quick cross check, it appears that the same unit is used across all models and years.

Power saddle bag lid lock fix
So my left saddle bag lock stopped working a week or so ago. Checked the price of a replacement, 200 bucks. Nope not spending that. Opened up the unit, found out it is a simple 2 wire actuator, searched the net, found one and installed it. For a fraction of the price and a half hour time, all...www.indianmotorcycles.net

Maybe you could pop open a saddlebag lock( 6 screws) and check if there's a number on the motor ?Nothing important to offer, but the previous owner of my 2020 base model installed the electric locks on my bags and the trunk, and I cannot imagine not having them now. My key fob also actuates my alarm system.
I ended up taking apart the tourpack lock and the motor is the same for the saddlebag.Maybe you could pop open a saddlebag lock( 6 screws) and check if there's a number on the motor ?
I appreciate it man. I got the part number off the motor in the tour pack. The lock part number is 4017838. I'll have to get some time to dig into taking it apart if that's what you need.
The motors.I'd like to have the electric saddlebag locks but I'm not crazy about spending $ 500.00. The only difference inside the lock mechanism is the electric motor and the wiring. The motor bracket and gear are in the manual lock assembly. I'd like to get the manufacturer part number on the motor ( not the Indian number) and try to buy motors. Anyone with electric locks willing to investigate would be awesome. The locks come apart and go back together very easily. This info would help anyone wanting electric locks for way less than Indians high accessory prices. I figured it's worth a shot to ask here, why not ?
Update. Got gears on amazon , put them in and ran wires, easy... now I have electric saddlebag locks for around $35. I did have to file the half moon motor tab on the cover.
Do they use a key fob, it is there an option on the RC?Update. Got gears on amazon , put them in and ran wires, easy... now I have electric saddlebag locks for around $35. I did have to file the half moon motor tab on the cover.
I don't have the locking fob on my base model, the switch on the fairing is there with the fuel door release. Not sure about the RC.Do they use a key fob, it is there an option on the RC?
I didn't take more pictures , it looks the same as before. With the wires in the channel you can't tell the difference.Do you have pics of your finished project?
