Any idea if the OEM windshield mount works with the risers installed?
Damn. You just reminded me of why I couldn't use any handlebar risers at all, if I'm going to leave the windshield on!
The way the OEM brackets attach, with one part on upper fork tubes and other on handlebars, I can't think of a way this could ever be done.
The OEM brackets would need the same 2 inch rise on the fork tubes!

I already made the order in a moment of excitement... actually 2, because the first order didn't show a web page after payment. Only an error page. So I redid it, got to final page okay that time, and afterward found 2 emails with both orders! Wrote back to cancel one.
Now I'm going to have to write back again to cancel the second order! I can't live without a windshield.

edit:
I've been looking at their product page photos and came to the conclusion that only a redesign could accommodate the OEM windshield. Specifically a need for a faux handlebar peg protruding out the side of each riser block base, which if it were on the current design would necessitate inverting each one left to right (or vice versa). If you can understand what I'm saying. Just give the pictures a look and maybe you'll see what I'm trying to describe. Outward short 1" width peg where the handlebar was prior to install of the risers.

I'm sure I would love these things, if not for wanting to keep my OEM windshield brackets/mounts including its bag.

If OP is same Ryan from Rox Speed customer and sales, I say thanks here too!

I'm still thinking there could be a remedy for me (maybe others as well).
Would only need to put a 1" thick bar that would clamp into the former speedometer brackets, having just a couple notches or flats across it where the risers mount onto it (if I understand their design), and span the width to where the windshield 'hooks' normally go onto handlebars alongside the speedometer mounts.

So maybe I'm not out of luck yet.

That's what I'm using now, with the reduced reach bars. The added height allows me to angle the bars a little more back toward me and still keep adequate height. I'm looking forward to trying the Rox risers with my reduced reach bars to get a little more pullback.
Arg! "reduced reach"... I was calling them the opposite, extended reach, when talking with Ryan at Rox Speed about this.

That aside, I was emailed by Chris from Rox Speed asking for pictures of the OEM windshield bracket and that a new design might be considered. Of course, I would be ecstatic if they were able to do so. I couldn't see paying a couple hundred for handlebars that leave the speedometer where it is. I'm right at the limit of feeling hunched forward sometimes; and I can't do away with my OEM windshield+bag, otherwise there wouldn't be any question about making the change to their Scout-specific Risers.
